I have used this blanket all winter long and I didn't need much more to keep me warm with the cold winter nights. I recommed this product and plan on buying another in a different color in the future. I've had it for about 6 months now and wash it a couple times a month. So far it's holding up well but the thread along one side came unraveled a bit. Overall though it's well-made for the price and it's constantly being dragged around by two kids and trampled on by 3 dogs. We plan to buy another one soon. I don't have any complaints about the item. It's very soft and it's freakishly huge (which is another nice thing!), and it comes with its own little plastic "suit case" for it, which is also awesome. It did smell a little... plasticy? But it isn't a terrible smell and it went away after washing it. So, I would say this is actually a pretty phenomenal item, its softness just isn't as transcendental as I was hoping.
